Alaska River

This photo was taken during my trip to Alaska. This river, one of the tributaries to the Knik River, appeared almost tropical with the reflection of the blue skies off of the silt from glacial run-off. This site was just off of Old Glenn Highway on the way to Palmer, a small road with spectacular views. There were many fishermen along this river hoping to catch salmon. We did see a few caught successfully.
