Hay Stack in the Mist

This photo was taken atop a peninsula on the Pacific Coast of Washington state. I thought it was funny how the haystack seemed all alone in the ocean. This area is part of Olympic National Park, one of my favorite National Parks in the US. The cloud/fog cover was thick all day and never let up, just got worse as the day wore on. A very strange feeling. It was up on this little peak that I realized that I had been shooting at 1600 ISO all day instead of 200 - kind of kicked myself for that later, but at least I figured it out while I was there and not when I got home.
