Pioneer Square at Dusk

Pioneer Square at Dusk

February 09, 2010 | Seattle

A shot of the pergola in Pioneer Square at dusk. This shot is roughly three minutes long as people and cars headed home from a busy day at work.

This area of Seattle is one of the oldest. In fact the road on the left (coming from behind us) is Yesler Avenue who is named after the logging pioneer who made a fortune by setting up his mill at the base of this road. Yesler Avenue was famously referred to a Skid Road because the logs they harvested further up the hill were skidded down in the mud to the mill.
