Hennepin Junction

Hennepin Junction

August 16, 2000 | Minneapolis

During high school I worked at a local camera store in Minneapolis. It was here that I discovered Fuji Velvia - the sought after slide film with amazing saturation and tight grain. Up until this point I pretty much had just shot black and whites because I could print them myself in the darkroom, but then with the advent of slide film into my life I went crazy. This was one of my favorite spots and really the first location that I took time-elapse photos. This is Hennepin Avenue as it runs into the southern part of downtown Minneapolis. This is actually taken from the sky bridge that is next to the sculpture park (the cherry on a spoon sight in Minneapolis).
